What a lovely discovery. We bought a selection of delicious pastries to take hone but then stayed to have a coffee on the lovely front terrasse. Pleasant, obliging staff. Lunch menu looked very nice and affordable - another time. Unfortunately they only bake bread on Saturdays but there are frozen loaves available along with quiches, pies and other goodies. Definitely a place to stop pff if you are in Richmond.
What a surprise to find delicious pie in the quaint town. We stopped in on our drive north. And we’re delighted with the gardens and tea. Had a fun chat with the owner. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful find. Randomly stopped off the highway on the way home from Quebec City. The experience was that of going to a friend's home, a friend that makes wonderful home cooking. It's small and cozy. We were 8 people and we arrived without a reservation. They welcomed us and treated us graciously. Great home cooking, great desserts, canned preserve, local cheeses for sale. Cash only FYI.
Great place for a calm brunch of lunch. We went there on Easter, they had a formula including boiled eggs in maple syrup, and with Jambon on the side. It was amazingly tasty!! A must try, a great place to try genuine canadian brunch!
La Dessert is worth the trip to Richmond.The setting is pretty, the food is amazing and the owners treat you like you are guests in their own home. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
Wonderful ambience, great food, friendly service. The only problem was no credit cards, but that adds to the ambience.
